For this project, I created an original Photoshop collage inspired by the conceptual and symbolic style found in the ParkeHarrison portfolio (Shana and Robert ParkeHarrison: Bodies of Work). I focused on creating a strong, unmistakable focal point while blending narrative, contrast, and atmosphere. The composition centers on a fiery eagle in motion, set against a largely monochromatic environment, which helps guide the viewer’s eye and reinforces the theme of tension between stillness and movement.

I used four or more images to construct the scene, carefully masking and blending each element to feel cohesive within the environment. Color grading was applied selectively, allowing the warm, glowing tones of the flying eagle to stand out sharply against the cool, desaturated background. Additional effects such as texture overlays, atmospheric mist, and subtle lighting enhancements were used to create depth, mood, and a cinematic quality. Overall, this collage reflects ParkeHarrison’s influence through symbolism, surreal realism, and visual storytelling while remaining an original and personal interpretation.
